Well, it's been a busy first week for little Harley - places to go, people to meet.
He hosted a Meet the Puppy coffee morning on Friday where he enjoyed cuddles with all my neighbours. On Saturday he went to his first BBQ where, after investigating the garden, he went to sleep under my chair. He had to be carried there and back because he hasn't had all his vaccinations yet, and he yelled his head off all the way, wriggling to get down and have a good sniff. Anyone would've thought he was being murdered!
He's been eating four square meals a day plus any stones, plants, twigs and bits of paper he can find.
On Monday he went to visit "Aunty Jan" for more cuddles whilst I went to my yoga class. On Tuesday he went to play with another black Cockapoo, Dylan, whilst I took Zola to her agility class. They got on really well, disappeared into the bushes and did "boy things" and generally had lots of fun.
Tomorrow our socialising trainer is coming for a home visit and on Friday he's going to the vet for his 2nd jab.
He's not very happy about going in the car so I'm taking him for a short drive round the village every day and I think he's getting better. He sleeps all night (in our bedroom) and we don't hear a peep out of him until 6 - 7 a.m.
He's just a little sweetie!
